Brian Donovan Earns Pilgrim League All-Star Honorable Mention Recognition

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (March 28, 2017) – Senior Brian Donovan (Manchester, Conn.) of the Western New England University wrestling team has been named a Pilgrim League All-Star Honorable Mention selection, it was announced last week.
Davey Goodall Named to NEWA All-Rookie Team, Eight Golden Bears Earn All-Academic Honors

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (March 27, 2017) – Freshman Davey Goodall (Chelmsford, Mass.) of the Western New England University wrestling team has been named to the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) All-Rookie Team, it was announced this morning. Additionally, eight Golden Bears earned NEWA All-Academic honors for their efforts in the classroom.

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (December 11, 2016) – The Western New England University wrestling team posted a 1-2 record earlier today at a quad meet hosted by Bridgewater State University. The Golden Bears defeated host Bridgewater State 39-9, but fell to the University of Southern Maine (32-9) and Roger Williams University (44-0).
