Omari Lewis Named to D3Football.com All Region First Team

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (December 7, 2022) – Western New England corner back Omari Lewis was named to the D3Football.com 2022 All-Region 1 First Team. The teams, selected in balloting by Region 1 sports information directors and D3football.com staff, were chosen from 199 nominations by full Division III member schools. A total of 79 players were chosen. Players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for D3football.com All-America honors, which will be announced the evening of Dec. 16, in D3football.com’s pregame coverage for Stagg Bowl XLIX.
Jake Chiasson Named to 2022 All-Noontime D3 New England Football Team

Western New England is 3-0 all-time against UNE, outscoring the Nor’easters 144-68 in those three games. UNE makes their second visit to Springfield in their program’s history on Saturday.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (October 21, 2022) – The Western New England football team will resume CCC play on Saturday afternoon by welcoming in the Curry College Colonels to Golden Bear Stadium at 1:00 pm. Western New England will host their annual Play for a Cause Game, also known as Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer. Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer began in the fall of 2011 and to date, over a half million athletes have supported the cause.
