(April 9, 2019) – Western New England University head wrestling coach Mike Sugermeyer and junior John Boyle (Rowley, Mass.) were honored by the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame during an awards ceremony at Noble & Greenough School in Dedham, Mass. on Sunday.

ROANOKE, Va. (March 9, 2019) – Western New England University junior John Boyle (Rowley, Mass.) made history on Saturday night when he captured the 184-pound national title on the second day of the NCAA Division III Championships at the Berglund Center.

Ryan Monteiro & John Boyle will represent the Golden Bears at the NCAA DIII Championships in two weeks following their second place finishes at the NCAA Northeast Regional.

(February 24, 2019) – Junior John Boyle (Rowley, Mass.) and sophomore Ryan Monteiro (Wilbraham, Mass.) posted runner-up finishes at 184 and 157 pounds, respectively, as the Western New England University wrestling team placed ninth at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships following Sunday’s action at the Wildcat Center on the campus of Johnson & Wales University.
