Four Golden Bears Compete at NEWITT

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (October 15, 2019) – Four members of the Western New England University women’s tennis team competed at the New England Women’s Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament (NEWITT) over the weekend at Mount Holyoke College and Smith College.

Women’s Tennis Falls to Gordon 5-2 in CCC Tournament Quarterfinals

WENHAM, Mass. (October 16, 2019) – The Western New England University women’s tennis team was eliminated from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament with a 5-2 loss to Gordon College in the quarterfinal round on Wednesday at the Brigham Athletic Complex.

(October 15, 2019) – Senior Morgan Schrader (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) and junior Maylene LaPress (Bedford, N.H.) of the Western New England University women's tennis team were both honored when the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced its major award winners and All-CCC selections on Tuesday afternoon.

Women’s Tennis Falls to Endicott on Senior Day, 9-0

Women’s Tennis Prevails 5-4 over Salve Regina

NEWPORT, R.I. (September 28, 2019) – The Western New England University women’s tennis team earned a 5-4 victory over Salve Regina University on Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Leroy Avenue Courts.

Women’s Tennis Defeated by Nichols in Home Opener, 9-0

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (September 21, 2019) – The Western New England University women’s tennis team was defeated by Nichols College, 9-0, in the Golden Bears’ 2019 home opener on Saturday at the Volvo Outdoor Courts.

Schrader took home the No. 2 Singles win on the day.
