Women’s Wrestling Competes at Northeast Duals

ERIE, Pa. (December 5, 2022) – The Western New England women's wrestling team traveled to the Northeast Duals on Sunday afternoon where the Golden Bears picked up points from Kendall Branchaud , Victoria Orender and Sabrina Sedor. 

How it Happened:
The Golden Bears would falter early in the day, coming up short to Lock Haven University. The Golden Bears would pick up their first win of the morning hours when Kendall Branchaud defeated Cameron Nunez of East Stroudsburg University in a victory via fall 6-0 to get Western New England points. The Golden Bears would be dropped for the second time this season to the Warriors. 

WNE would move on to face Ursinus College where Kendall Branchaud would take down Laura Bradley in 0:25, 2-0 to pick up the only Golden Bears victory over Ursinus. Western New England would take three forfeit wins over Alvernia University as Kendall Branchaud, Victoria Orender and Sabrina Sedor would pick up VFO's for the Golden Bears.
