Dana Pugh enters her second year at Western New England in the summer of 2022.

Pugh comes to the Golden Bears with a bachelor’s in Sports Management from St. John’s University and a master’s in Business Administration from American International College. Pugh has spent three years as an Assistant Basketball Coach at Suffield Academy in Suffield, Connecticut while also being a Manager of Operations at Whip’s Sporting Goods in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Pugh worked in collegiate athletics during her undergraduate years where she was an Athletics Department Intern at St. John’s University. In this position, Pugh coordinated the daily schedule of activities for assigned teams and athletes, planned, organized, facilitated and promoted diverse recreational programs, monitored and guided appropriate sporting game activities, and checked equipment and monitored common areas to maintain neatness, organization and proper upkeep while remaining vigilant on safety.
