Jacob Dino was hired as the Graduate Assistant for Administration and Sports Information at Western New England in August 2022. Dino will assist the Athletics Department with Live Stats, social media posts, and administrative tasks.

Dino, originally from Roxbury, New Jersey, comes back to WNE after graduating in May of 2022 with a degree in Business Administration, majoring in Sport Management and minoring in Finance. Dino graduated from Western New England Summa Cum Laude.

Dino has many years of stat experience as he did live stats for Roxbury Baseball Association for four years of Cal Ripken Tournaments. During the 2022 summer, Dino interned for the Bristol Blues of the NECBL collegiate baseball league. He spent the internship running the Trackman stats system for the team, running the sound system, and completing multiple game operation tasks. Dino also has internship experience in marketing from his time with the New England Patriots Alumni Club (NEPAC) in 2021. He ran the organization’s social media pages and helped write press releases for fundraisers and youth football camps. In 2020, Dino assisted at the Roxbury Recreation Department, where he was tasked with redesigning multiple programs for the department.

While at WNE, Dino was a Resident Advisor for three years, worked in the Advancement Department for two years, and was a manager for the Men’s Basketball team at WNE for one season during his senior year. He was the Vice President of the WNE Sport Management Association for two years. Dino took over the President position for the last semester of his senior year. He also spent three years as an assistant coach at Minnechaug Regional High School.
