Bio

A 2019 graduate of Western New England University, Ryan Guers joins the WNE Athletic Department as the Assistant Director of Athletics of Compliance. 

Guers joins the WNE Athletic Department while pursuing a degree from the Western New England University School of Law. Guers received his bachelor's degree in communication with a concentration in public relations in 2019. Guers was a member of the President's and Dean's list each semester while studying at WNE.

Guers is no stranger to the WNE Athletic Department, having served as the Western New England wrestling team captain in the 2018-2019 season. Following the '18-'19 season, Guers served as the Assistant Wrestling Coach at WNE for one season.  

Guers comes to the Western New England Athletic Department after serving as the Assistant to the General Counsel on campus. There, Guers coordinated collections for the University, assisted the University with legal research, as well as maintaining the General Counsel's calendar, scheduling appointments, filing etc. Previously, Guers served as a legal office intern with Markey | Barrett P.C in Springfield, Mass. There, Guers performed all essential duties in the law office. 

Along with serving as team captain of the wrestling team, Guers has received multiple honors and awards throughout his time at Western New England University. Guers is on track to complete his degree in the School of Law in 2023.
