Bio

Mike Vallee is entering his 17th year as the head athletic trainer, and 22nd year overall, on the Western New England University sports medicine staff in the 2022-23 academic year.

Vallee works primarily with the Golden Bears men’s & women's soccer, men's and women's tennis, field hockey, men's ice hockey, women's wrestling, and softball teams. 

He is a 1997 graduate of Ithaca College where he earned a bachelor of science degree in athletic training/exercise science. Vallee received a master of science degree in exercise science/human performance at Southern Connecticut State University in 2000, where he also served as an adjunct faculty member in exercise science.

Prior to coming to Western New England, Vallee worked as the head athletic trainer at East Hampton (N.Y.) High School, as well as the lead athletic trainer for the Southhampton (N.Y.) Hospital Outpatient Sports Rehabilitation Clinic. Vallee is also a staff athletic trainer for the Region 1 girls' soccer Olympic Development Program.

He currently resides Springfield, with his wife, Leanne.
