Bio

John Salivonchik is entering his fourth season with the Western New England University men's basketball program in 2022-23. . 

Salivonchik comes to Western New England after serving as a Student Manager with Quinnipiac University's NCAA Division I men's basketball program from 2015-19, including three years as Head Manager. 

In his role at Quinnipiac, Salivonchik provided personal assistance to the coaching staff, contributing to scouting reports, film, and gameday preparations. He worked with the Director of Operations on practice and game prep and also assisted with organizing Quinnipiac's recruiting database, aided the coaching staff with offseason skill development sessions, and coordinated all summer camps run by the men's basketball program. 

Over the summer, Salivonchik served as a Recruiting Coordinator for Hoop Group. He was responsible for the national recruitment of campers through face-to-face, phone and email marketing. Salivonchik maintained and grew a database of 60 thousand prospective student-athletes, directed college coaches to prospective college players, and provided social media support. 

A native of Plymouth, New Hampshire, Salivonchik earned his Bachelor of Science in Management from Quinnipiac in 2019. Salivonchik earned a master's degree in Sport Leadership & Coaching from Western New England in 2022.
