Bio

Jon Harris finished his second season as head coach in the fall of 2022 after completing 16 seasons as an assistant coach for the men's and women's cross country programs at Western New England University.

He was a four-year runner and three-year captain for the Golden Bears, as well as a member of the Western New England squad that returned to varsity competition in 1999. 

Harris is a native of Monson, Mass., where he has also been the head coach of the high school boys' track and field program since 2009.

He graduated from the University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and attained his Level 1 Certification from USA Track & Field in 2008.
