SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (March 21, 2018) – Senior guard Dorothy O’Neill (Staten Island, N.Y.) has been selected to represent Western New England University in the New England Women’s Basketball Association (NEWBA) Senior All-Star Classic, the organization announced last week.

BIDDEFORD, Maine (February 22, 2018) – The fourth-seeded Western New England University women’s basketball team fell to top-seeded University of New England, 77-60, in the semifinal round of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament on Thursday night at Harold Alfond Forum.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (February 20, 2018) – Fourth-seeded Western New England University outscored fifth-seeded Salve Regina University by a combined 20 points in the second and third quarters on its way to a 64-49 victory over the Seahawks in the quarterfinal round of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women’s Basketball Tournament on Tuesday night at the Alumni Healthful Living Center.

(February 19, 2018) – Senior guard Dorothy O’Neill (Staten Island, N.Y.) and sophomore forward Meghan Orbann (East Hampton, Conn.) of the Western New England University women’s basketball team were both recognized when the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced its major award winners and All-CCC selections on Monday afternoon.

(February 17, 2018) – The University of New England outscored Western New England University 11-0 over the final three minutes of regulation to earn a 61-54 win over the Golden Bears on Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women’s basketball action at the Alumni Healthful Living Center.
