Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Set For 2023, Begin September 2

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (July 20, 2023) – The Western New England men's and women's cross-country teams are set to begin their eight meet schedule with the addition of NCAA Regionals on Saturday, September 2 as both teams look to capture their first ever CCC Championship in program history. 

Both teams released identical schedules, beginning on Saturday, September 2 at Keene State College for the Keene State Alumni Meet. Western New England will then head to SUNY Cobleskill and the Steven A. Warde Invitational on Saturday, September 9. The busy month of September for Western New England continues with the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational at Robert Dowd Cross Country Course on Saturday, September 16. The Golden Bears will then head to the Founding Tree Invitational for their final race of September on Saturday, September 30.

October starts at the James Earley Invitational, hosted by Westfield State University for the Golden Bears on October 7. Western New England will host their annual WNE Invitational with their final regular season meet of the season, hosting the event on Saturday, October 14. WNE will then hit the road for the CCC Championships where the blue and gold look to secure their first ever CCC Championships in program history. The race will take place in Wenham, Mass. at Gordon College. 

This seasons' Mid-East Regional Championship will take place at Stanley Park, located in Westfield, Massachusetts on Saturday, November 11, hosted by Westfield State University.
