WNE's 10 play, 31-yard drive would come to a close with a missed field goal, holding the Golden Bears off the scoreboard, which ended the second quarter of play.

Husson would need just one play on their first drive of the quarter to get points when QB Nic Visser found Jon Bell for a 68-yard touchdown pass to give Husson their second lead of the game, which stood at 14-7. Upon a quick WNE drive the failed to result in points, the Golden Bears would surrender another TD, as Nic Visser would score a six-yard rush to put the Eagles ahead by 13 points.

Back-to-back interceptions, one by each team, would cause for a Golden Bear first and ten from the Husson 38-yard line. After two incomplete passes from WNE QB Bryce KarstetterKarstetter would find Ian Britt for a 38-yard touchdown pass to get Western New England right back in the contest, trailing 20-14 with 1:19 to play in the third quarter.

WNE would collect the next score of the game after a 23-yard field goal sailed through the uprights from Matt Gilbert to put the score at 20-17 in favor of the Eagles. On their next drive of the game, Husson would cash in for seven points on a eight yard touchdown pass from Nic Visser to Dom Wilson to give Husson their ten point lead back.
