WNE Football to Host Be The Match Event Thursday
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (March 20, 2023) – The Western New England football team will host a Get In The Game, Save a Life, Be The Match event on Thursday, March 23 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the University Commons.
Every year, 12,000 patients are diagnosed with life-threatening blood cancers or diseases like sickle cell for which a blood stem cell transplant from an unrelated donor may be their only chance at a cute. With the support of over 150 college football teams, Get In The Game has added over 161,000 donors thus far, and is responsible for 962 transplants. Please join the WNE Football team in their fight to save lives. It takes less than five minutes to register and swab.
To qualify for this event, you must be between the ages of 18-40 and in general good standing health. Visit WNE Football on Thursday, March 23 at 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the University Commons on the campus of Western New England.
