Jake Chiasson Named to 2022 All-Noontime D3 New England Football Team

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (November 18, 2022) – Western New England football junior Jake Chiasson has been named to the Noontime D3 Football Team of New England. The standout defender led the Golden Bears to three conferences win on the season, while totaling team highs in multiple categories on defense.  

The Chelmsford, Massachusetts native collected 32 solo tackles on the season while making a total of 62 assisted tackles, good for 94 total tackles on the season, leading all Western New England defenders on the year. Chiasson finished fourth in the CCC in total tackles, while also coming away with 0.5 sacks, 2.5 tackles for loss, and one break up pass on the year. WNE's top linebacker held opponents to at or under 14 points in four games this season and was also named to the First Team All-CCC for his standout performance.
