SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (May 23, 2017) – Sophomore left-handed pitcher Bob Hamel (Southwick, Mass.) of the Western New England University baseball team has earned third team All-Region honors from both D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), it was announced on Tuesday.

BEVERLY, Mass. (May 6, 2017) – The Western New England University baseball team had its run in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament ended with losses to Endicott College and Gordon College on Saturday afternoon at Endicott’s North Field. The Golden Bears dropped a 5-4 contest to the Gulls in the first game of the day, before falling to Gordon 5-3 in the elimination contest.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (May 4, 2017) – Senior first baseman Daniel Morin (Salem, N.H.) was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year and six other Golden Bears were recognized when the CCC announced its All-Conference teams and major award winners on Thursday afternoon.
