Nine Golden Bears Named to 2023 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (July 27, 2023) – The Western New England women’s lacrosse team earned nine names on the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association’s Academic Honor Roll, their most in program history, as presented by the association on Wednesday afternoon. Western New England University women’s lacrosse was also presented with the IWLCA 2023 Academic Honor Squads award.
Hill, Vitka Named to IWLCA Senior All-Star Game

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (May 22, 2023) – Western New England women’s lacrosse senior Ally Hill and graduate student Samantha Vitka have been selected to play in the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association’s (IWLCA) Senior All-Star game. The event will take place on Saturday, June 3 at 12:15 PM.
Lake Collects Major Award, Six Others from Women’s Lacrosse Named to All-CCC Teams

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (May 9, 2023) – The Western New England women’s lacrosse team tallied six student-athletes on the All-CCC Women’s Lacrosse teams while senior Emily Lake was named CCC Scholar Athlete of the Year, as announced by the conference office today. The Golden Bears secured four to the All-CCC First Team while two others collected All-CCC Third Team honors.
Women's Lacrosse Bows Out of CCC Tournament in Semifinal Round

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (April 26, 2023) – Western New England women's lacrosse team had their last regular season home game against the Nichols College Bison. The Golden Bears Ally Ferraro earned her 100th career point while her team defeated the Bison 21-3 and earn a third seed in the CCC playoffs.
