Alumni Healthful Living Center
The 123,000-square-foot Alumni Healthful Living Center (AHLC) offers students a place to enrich their campus experiences beyond the classroom.

The facility, which opened in 1993, features a 2000-seat basketball/volleyball facility, fitness center, aerobics room, eight-lane pool and recreation area, indoor track, racquetball and squash courts, practice courts, weight room and varsity weight room, and a wrestling room.

Western New England University's Downes Athletic Hall of Fame is also located in the building.

Golden Bear Stadium
Golden Bear Stadium, which opened in September 2002, is one of Western New England's newest facilities. The lighted multi-purpose field is part of the Suprenant Field complex and is located adjacent to the baseball, softball, and soccer fields.

It is used by the school's varsity field hockey, football, and men's and women's lacrosse teams, as well as the school's intramural program.

During the summer of 2010 the stadium installed new turf. Click here to read the story.

Western New England University's football and lacrosse teams previously played their contests on the game field located near the St. Germain Campus Center. The College built a new residence hall on the site. The field hockey team played its events on a grass surface at Suprenant Field.

"The entire University has worked together to advance varsity and intramural sports because we recognize how beneficial these are for our students and for the growing reputation of Western New England College," said Western New England president Dr. Anthony S. Caprio.

According to athletics director Mike Theulen, "This facility is a tremendous asset for our student-athletes and teams, and will complement our Alumni Healthful Living Center. It also allows us to deliver programming in a qualitative way for our student-athletes and student body."

George E. Trelease Memorial Baseball Park

Western New England University dedicated its new George E. Trelease Memorial Baseball Park on September 19, 2004 during Homecoming Weekend.

The new facility is named in honor of the late George Trelease who was the father of Board of Trustee member Brian Trelease '67, '71 MBA.

The playing surface is known as the Pat Ricci Field in honor of Pat Ricci who is the second all-time winningest baseball coach in school history with 188 victories.

Suprenant Fields
The Suprenant fields are the home of the men's and women's soccer teams. There is seating across the field from the teams' benches, which holds approximately 250 people. Many fans and opponents say that Western New England's athletic fields are among the best in New England.
