Men’s Basketball to Host 2023 Prospect Camp
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (June 6, 2023) - The Western New England University men's basketball program will host a prospect camp for high school players in the graduating classes of 2024, 2025 and 2026 on Friday, August 11th, 2023.
The camp will run from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will include instructional drill work, a simulated college practice segment, and two games for each participant along with a WNE Basketball T-Shirt. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. For those interested, an informational session with Admissions and the Financial Aid staff of the University will take place after the camp, along with a campus tour.
Tentative 2023 Schedule:
11:30-12:00 – Camp Registration
12:00-12:15 – Intro - Warm-Up
12:15-12:30 – Golden Bear Shooting
12:30-1:30 – WNE Simulated Practice
1:30-2:00 – 3v3 – Around the Horn
2:00-3:30 – 5v5 Games
3:30-4:00 –Q&A with Admissions and Financial Aid of Western New England University
4:00 – Campus tour (optional)
