Men’s Golf Wraps Up Fall Season at NEIGA Fall Championships
BREWSTER, Mass. (October 16, 2022) – The Western New England golf team concluded their 2022 fall schedule on Sunday afternoon at The Captains Golf Course for the NEIGA Championships. Western New England finished 18th/23rd in the event, improving one place from Saturday's placement.
How it Happened:
The Golden Bears saw Jeremy Burke lead the way, shooting a 155 in the two-day event, placing tied for 40th in the competition. Burke improved his day one score by one stroke on day two. Ryan Schlehuber came in second place for Western New England, finishing at 164 strokes, good for tying for 74th place in the event. Ryne Salius scored an 84 in both days of event, finishing in 90th place for WNE. Dylan Fortunado and Robert DeFeo also competed for the Golden Bears, placing in the top 100 of all golfers in the event.
This wraps up the 2022 fall schedule for the WNE men's golf team. Western New England will be back in action starting in April 2023.
