Kelli Arsenault '05 Inducted into the Western New England Downes Athletic Hall of Fame

Former Western New England women’s swimming standout Kelli Arsenault ’05 of Branford, Conn., was among seven individuals inducted into the school’s Downes Athletic Hall of Fame on September 23, 2011. With Kelli are (from left) athletics director Mike Theulen, women’s swim coach Andrea Daley who presented Kelli, and University presidentAnthony Caprio. Kelli was a seven-time Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) champion competing in the backstroke and the first Golden Bears’ performer to receive the prestigious “Kay Fromer Award” for scoring the most points in four years of competition at the New England Championship.

Western New England Downes Athletic Hall of Fame Profile: Swim Champ Kelli Arsenault

Kelli Arsenault '05 was one of seven distinguished individuals who have played a prominent role in the success of Western New England athletics that were inducted into the school’s Downes Hall of Fame on Sept. 23, 2011, during Homecoming Weekend.

Arsenault is the top point scorer in WNE women's swimming history, recipient of the Kay Fromer Award at New Englands, and holds many school records.

McCormick also holds school records and is ranked third for top point scorers in WNE history.
