Women’s Tennis Opens 2023 Regular Season September 2

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (July 19, 2023) – The Western New England women's tennis team will open their 2023 fall schedule on Saturday, September 2 as part of their eight-match sleight. 

WNE will first travel to Northern Vermont University – Johnson on September 2 to open their 2023 season. Western New England is a perfect 6-0 all time against the Badgers. The Golden Bears open their home schedule on Wednesday, September 13 at 4:15 PM when Western Connecticut State University visits Springfield for the first time in their program's history. WNE is 2-0 all-time against the Wolves. 

Conference play will open on the road for Western New England as they travel to Curry College on Tuesday, September 19 for a 3:30 PM start time. WNE will host Nichols College on Wednesday, September 27 at 3:30 PM for their first home conference match of the season. A mini two match road trip will see the blue and gold make stops at Endicott College (September 30) and Suffolk University (October 3). 

Western New England wraps up regular season conference play on home court, hosting Roger Williams University (October 7) and Gordon College (October 11). The CCC Tournament will begin on Tuesday, October 17 and continue until Saturday, October 21.
