ACADEMIC SUCCESS: Members of the Golden Bears Athletics Family succeed in their sport and in the classroom
- More than 80% of all incoming student-athletes annually qualify for the Western New England University Merit Scholarship
- The cumulative grade-point average of all student-athletes at Western New England University consistently exceeds a 3.0
- Nearly 100 student-athletes named annually to academic all-conference teams, including a record-138 during 2014-15 school year
- Annually as many as 30 upperclassmen are inducted into the prestigious National Student-Athlete Honor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma
- Twenty-three (23) Academic All America Awards presented to 17 Western New England University student-athletes
COMPETITIVE ATHLETICS: Western New England University is recognized as a competitive powerhouse both regionally and nationally
- Sixty-six (66) NCAA Championship appearances, including 46 national tournament berths in the last 15 years
- Fifty-one (51) All America accolades earned by Western New England student-athletes since 2005 and 66 awards in total
- Nineteen (19) Commonwealth Coast Championships in just the last eight years since Western New England's admission to the conference for the 2007-08 season
- Fifty (50) of 57 ECAC New England Championship Tournament appearances (12 titles) have come in the last 21 years
- Scores of Western New England student-athletes have been named to all-conference teams and won "player of the year" citations
LEADERSHIP IN ACTION: All 19 varsity athletic programs and 100% of all student-athletes participate in community service throughout the year
- Serving as role models at the annual Girls and Women in Sports Day
- Volunteering at local community centers
- Participating in Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
- Assisting in the Springfield tornado community clean-up efforts
