Keutmann Named to 2021 D3football.com Preseason All-America Team
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (August 23, 2021) – Linebacker Erich Keutmann (Washingtonville, N.Y.) of the Golden Bear football team was named to the D3football.com Preseason All-America Third Team, as announced earlier today.
Keutmann was named to the Preseason All-America Second Team in 2020 after an impressive showing in 2019. In 2019, Keutmann earned All-Region Second Team honors with 132 tackles for the Golden Bears, which ranked fifth in all of the NCAA Division III. He recorded 10+ tackles in eight of the Golden Bears' 11 games.
For his career, Keutmann has totaled 194 tackles averaging 6.1 tackles per game. Keutmann also has six sacks for a total of 29 yards with 12.5 tackles for losses of a total 50 yards.
Keutmann and the Golden Bears open the 2021 season at home on September 4 when they host cross-city rival Springfield College at 1 p.m.
