BRISTOL, R.I. (October 19, 2021) – The women's tennis fall season came to an end earlier today when Roger Williams defeated the Golden Bears 6-0 in the CCC Quarterfinals.

Records:

Roger Williams: 12-1, 6-1 CCC
Western New England: 2-6, 2-5 CCC

How It Happened:

The Golden Bears dropped the first two doubles matches 8-0 and 8-2. Hailey MacDonald and Jennifer Arling competed at the number three position where they scored four points on their opponents in a hard-fought battle where the Golden Bears came up short 8-4 for the Hawks to have a 3-0 lead after doubles.

The number three, number four and number six singles matches went unfinished as the Hawks won the number one, number two and number five singles matches all in two sets to seal their 6-0 victory and end the Golden Bears fall season.
