Men’s Golf Opens Spring Season at Bill Detrick Invitational

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (March 3, 2022) – The Western New England golf team took to the course for the first time since the fall, finishing in 9^th out of ten teams in the two-day invitational at Timberlin Golf Course.

How it Happened:

Western New England was led by Colin Richmond who shot an 85 on day one of the invitation, following that up with an 82 score on day two, finishing with a total score of 167, marking +23 for WNE. Also competing for the Golden Bears was Dylan Fortunado, who improved by one stroke from day one to day two, coming up with an 88 on day one and an 87 on day two, finishing with a final score of 175, finishing tied for 45^th in the invitational.
Also competing for the Golden Bears in the two-day tournament was Ryan Schlehuber (176). Ryne Salius (179), Dominic Manning (184), and Benjamin Sokolov (187).
