Men’s Wrestling Announces 2023 Summer Prospect Day

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (June 7, 2023) – The Western New England men's wrestling program has announced their 2023 summer prospect day, which will take place on Monday, August 21 from 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM. 

The WNE men's wrestling prospect day is designed to provide student athletes with the opportunity to learn more about the Western New England University student-athlete experience, both in the classroom and on the wrestling mat. The prospect day is a great opportunity for prospective student athletes to experience a college style practice, showcase their skills to the Golden Bear coaching staff and participate in a Q&A session with current team members.

Schedule of Events

12:30 PM - Registration

1:00 PM - Campus Tour 

2:30 PM - Prospect Clinic run by Head Wrestling Coach, Mike Sugermeyer

4:00 PM - Q&A Panel with Coach Sugermeyer and current members of the Golden Bear wrestling team.

$50.00 - Included in the cost is a WNE Wrestling T-Shirt.
