Cross Country Opens Season September 3

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (August 16, 2022) – The Western New England men's & women's cross-country teams will open their 2022 schedule at the Keene State College Alumni Meet as part of their seven scheduled meets for the fall regular season, as announced in today's schedule unveiling.

The Golden Bears will open at Keene State for the fourth straight season, this time on Saturday, September 3. Following the meet in Keene, WNE will then travel to University of New England for the Ron Ouellette Invitational on Saturday, September 10 at 10:45 AM (women's) and 11:30 AM (men's) at Rotary Park in Biddeford, Maine. Both the men's and women's teams will continue their road stretch when they travel to the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational (September 17) and the Elms College Blazer Classic (September 24) to wrap up the September schedule. 

WNE will return to the course on Saturday, October 8 when both the men's and women's teams compete in the James Earley Invitational, hosted by Westfield State University at Stanley Park in Westfield, Massachusetts. The Golden Bears will then host the Golden Bear Invitational on Saturday, October 15. WNE will take to the CCC Championships, hosted the University of New England on Saturday, October 29 to wrap up the fall regular season.
