Freshman Dina DiBlasio (Norwalk, Conn.) drove in Western New England's only run in the opener with a solo homer, while sophomore Madison Murabito (Liverpool, N.Y.) recorded a pinch-hit single.

Endicott's offense was fueled by senior outfielder Hayley Arduini (Southington, Conn.), who went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI.

Junior pitcher Maggie Oram (Lexington, Mass.) was dominant in the circle, allowing just two hits with three strikeouts over a complete game effort.

Game Review
Western New England opened the scoring in the top of the second, as DiBlasio led off with a solo shot to right center field, but Arduini answered for the Gulls with a two-run homer in the bottom half of the inning.

Endicott stranded three runners on base in the bottom of the fourth, but the Gulls added to their lead in the fifth as sophomore Adrianna Favreau (Tewksbury, Mass.) led off with a walk before coming in to score two batters later on a sacrifice fly by Arduini.

The home team tacked on one more run in the sixth, courtesy of senior Gina DeMilt's (Princeton, N.J.) RBI triple, and Western New England was unable to get anything going offensively in the seventh as the Gulls took game one.

DiBlasio was again a key offensive contributor for the Golden Bears in game two, recording Western New England's lone RBI with a double in the fourth inning. Sophomore Allie Buzzeo (Stamford, Conn.) doubled twice, while junior Sydney Pounds (Milford, Mass.) tripled and sophomore Emily Cooney (Berlin, Conn.) reached base twice with a walk and a single.

DeMilt and freshman Carly Marchitto (Orange, Conn.) paced the Gulls, as they both recorded two hits and one RBI.

Game Review
Western New England again struck first, as Pounds tripled with one out in the first inning and came in to score on an Endicott throwing error.

The Golden Bears extended their lead to 3-0 with a pair of runs in the top of the fourth. Kistner got it started with a single though the left side of the infield, and DiBlasio followed with an RBI double to left center. Later in the inning, DiBlasio came in to score on a wild pitch.

Endicott, which was limited to just one hit over the first four frames, broke through for a pair of runs in the fifth. With one out and two runners on base, Marchitto recorded an RBI single to right center field to get the Gulls on the board. Odermatt came up next and reached on a fielder's choice, allowing junior Hannah Llewellyn (Danvers, Mass.) to score.

After tying the contest with a run in the sixth, Endicott walked off with the win in the seventh. Marchitto led off with a double to right center field, and after Odermatt grounded out, DeMilt delivered the game-winning RBI single through the right side of the infield.
