Justin Holl Named USILA Scholar All-American

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (June 11, 2018) – Senior midfielder Justin Holl (Mount Laurel, N.J.) of the Western New England University men's lacrosse team has been named a Scholar All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA), the organization announced on Monday.

Holl, who graduated in May with a 3.93 grade point average as a health science major, racked up an impressive number of academic and athletic accolades during his four-year career as a Golden Bear.

He was a three-time All-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) selection, earning CCC Short-Stick Specialist of the Year and NEILA All-New England second team accolades as a sophomore in 2016. In 70 career games (35 starts), Holl compiled 22 points (ten goals, 12 assists), 79 ground balls and nine caused turnovers.

Off the field, he was a three-time Academic All-CCC honoree and NEILA All-Academic selection this spring. The Lenape High School product was presented with the CHAMPS/Life Skills Commitment to Excellence award at Western New England's Co-Curricular awards ceremony this spring, and he represented the Golden Bears at the NCAA Leadership Conference in Baltimore, Md. as a junior last fall. Holl was active on campus as a member of the Executive Board on WNE's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Holl is among 75 Division III men's lacrosse players, and the only student-athlete from the CCC, to receive this honor from the USILA.
