Kaeli Serafino Selected to NEWISA Senior Bowl

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Senior defender Kaeli Serafino (Ludlow, Mass.) of the Western New England University women's soccer team has been selected to the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl, which will be held on Saturday, December 7 at Merrimack College.

Serafino is among 27 of the region's top seniors, and one of just eight defenders, to earn a spot in the All-Star Game.

A two-time All-CCC selection, Serafino received second team honors this past fall after starting all 20 matches for the Golden Bears. Over the course of her four-year career, Serafino started 56 of the 61 games that she appeared in, scoring two goals on 30 shots.

Western New England went 8-10-2 (4-3-1 CCC) in 2019 and earned the fourth seed in the CCC Tournament, before falling to Endicott in the quarterfinals.
