Women’s Tennis Releases 2022 Schedule
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (August 18, 2022) – With the season just 16 days away, the Western New England women's tennis team has announced their 2022 fall schedule, which will feature two non-conference slates, with six conference matches on the schedule.
The Golden Bears will open the season on Saturday, September 3 at Northern Vermont University-Johnson at 1:00 pm. Western New England will then host their first two matches of the season, taking on both Nichols College (September 14) and Curry College (September 17) in CCC play. Women's tennis will wrap up the schedule with a road CCC match with Gordon College (September 20) and a home non-conference match with Lesley University (September 26).
The October slate will feature four conference matches for the Golden Bears, two on the road and two on home court. WNE will travel to Salve Regina University for their first of two road contests during the month on Saturday, October 1 at 12:00 pm. The Golden Bears will take on Suffolk University on home court on Tuesday, October 4 at 3:30 pm. Western New England will travel to Roger Williams University on Saturday, October 8 at 12:00 pm for their final road contest of the regular season. To finish the regular season, the Golden Bears will host Endicott College on Wednesday, October 12.
