Women's Tennis Draws Sixth in CCC Preseason Coaches' Poll

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (August 29, 2022) – The Western New England University women's tennis team was selected to finish sixth of eight teams in the 2022 CCC Preseason Coaches' poll, as announced by the conference office today. 

Western New England women's tennis will look to improve on their 2021-2022 season, returning key players to the court. 

After going 4-3 during the 2021-2022 season, Arriana Hasiuk (Chicopee, Mass.) returns to the court. Hasiuk went 3-3 in the second position, while going 1-0 in the third position. 

The Golden Bears will also welcome back Michelle McDermott (Easthampton, Mass.) who went 3-3 during the season.


WNE will be on the road to start the fall season, traveling to Northern Vermont University – Johnson on Saturday, September 3 for a 1:00 pm match. WNE opens their home sleight of games with a CCC match against Nichols College on Wednesday, September 14 at 3:30 pm.
