Swim Ties for Fourth Place at the Bridgewater State University Invitational

Bridgewater, Mass. (December 4, 2021) – The Western New England Women's Swimming team tied for fourth place out of eight teams in the 20-event meet at Bridgewater State's Invitational. They finished with a total score of 265 points for the day.

How it Happened:

Western New England's Andie Nadeu had an impressive meet. She earned three first-place finishes. Nadeu finished first in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:02.24, the 100-yard freestyle in 56.97, and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:30.30, earning a total of 48 points. Nadeu was also the anchor during the 200-yard freestyle relay where the Golden Bears took fifth adding 20 points, and the 200-yard medley relay where they came in sixth with 18 points. Caitlin Hall contributed some major points for the Golden Bears as well. In the 100-yard freestyle Hall placed fourth in 1:00.07 gaining 11 points. In the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 27.69 and the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:11.04, Hall placed fifth adding 20 more points to Western New England's total score. Sydney Boussy put up a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:10.49 and another 10 points.
