Ashley O'Keefe and Amy Lorinovich gain All-GNAC recognition

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Western New England College sophomore Ashley O'Keefe (South Dennis, MA) and junior Amy Lorinovich (Hampstead, NH) have been named to the All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Volleyball Team for the second consecutive year.

O'Keefe, the 2004 GNAC Rookie-of-the-Year, was a repeat selection on the All-GNAC First Team while Lorinovich made the All-GNAC Second Team for the second straight season.

A middle hitter, O'Keefe was first on the team in blocks (88) and was second in digs (229), kills (292), and service aces (46). Lorinovich, an outside hitter, led the Golden Bears in kills (327) and hitting percentage (.302).

Western New England College posted a 16-15 record for its seventh consecutive winning season and advanced to the semifinals of the GNAC Tournament for the sixth straight year.
