Western New England Cancels All Athletic Activities for the Remainder of the Spring Semester
As we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve. Given the likelihood that the pandemic will continue to worsen over the coming months, the need for students and their families to have some certainty regarding what to expect, and the concerns of the University for meeting student learning expectations for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester, the University is no longer planning to resume classes on Monday, March 23.
All student events that were planned on or after Monday, March 23 are canceled for the remainder of the semester. This includes, but is not limited to, all athletic events, spring formal and senior week. A final decision regarding Commencement will be forthcoming.
