Game Review
UNE needed just over two minutes to get on the board, as Lachapelle put the Nor'easters ahead 1-0 with the help of an assist from sophomore Julia Steeves (Skowhegan, Maine).
Following a UNE penalty corner at the 9:19 mark, the home team doubled its advantage on junior defender Reanna Boulay's (Liberty, Maine) tenth goal of the season.
The Nor'easters increased their lead to 3-0 just 52 seconds later, as Lachapelle scored her second of the game. With 3:36 remaining in the first half, UNE went up 4-0 on an unassisted tally by senior Kendra MacDonald (Lebanon, N.H.).
UNE, which led by the same score at halftime, maintained its shutout for the majority of the second half. The Golden Bears were able to break through late in regulation, however, as senior Jacqueline Clark (Auburn, Mass.) set up Martin for her third goal of the season.
