Sophomore forward Matt Remillard (Palmer, Mass.) and junior midfielder Chris Manousos (Wethersfield, Conn.) led Western New England's offensive outburst, as Remillard scored twice and Manousos handed out three assists.

Game Review
Western New England needed less than seven minutes to open the scoring in the contest, as Manousos dribbled down the right side of the field and charged into the box before sending a cross to Remillard, who finished at the near post to give the Golden Bears a 1-0 lead.

At the 13:27 mark, Manousos set up Remillard again to double Western New England's advantage. This time, Manousos' pass into the box was misplayed by an Elms defender and Remillard collected the loose ball before firing a hard shot into the lower left corner of the net.

In the 25th minute, Kubacki tallied his first goal of the season to make it 3-0. Manousos again sent in a high cross from the right side to Kubacki at the far post, and he headed the ball back across the goal into the side netting.

The offensive onslaught continued in the 41st minute, when Maccini connected with Prindle for a one-timer at the goal mouth to increase the Golden Bears' lead to 4-0.

Maccini then found the back of the net himself at the 43:12 mark to cap the scoring in the contest. He received a pass from sophomore Josh Labonte (Ludlow, Mass.) near the top of the box and fired a shot into the lower left corner of the net.

Western New England continued to attack in the second half with 14 shots over the final 45 minutes of action, but Elms sophomore goalkeeper AJ Oliveira (Beacon Falls, Conn.) made seven saves to keep the margin at 5-0.
