Game Review
Following a scoreless first half that featured just one shot on frame, the Hawks took a 1-0 lead in the 59th minute.

After a Roger Williams corner kick, the Western New England defense attempted to clear the ball out of the box, but it ended up at the feet of sophomore Connor Edwards (Deerfield, Mass.). Edwards sent a pass into the box to Grant, who turned around, found space and fired a shot into the back of the net past Western New England senior goalkeeper Sam Brewer (Westford, Mass.).

The Golden Bears applied offensive pressure for the remainder of the half and had a few solid scoring chances, but Roger Williams was able to hold onto its lead and escape with the win.

Notes
• Western New England outshot Roger Williams and held a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.
• Junior Connor Prindle (Shelton, Conn.) took a team-high three shots for the Golden Bears.
