Junior forward Jacqueline Clark (Auburn, Mass.) scored her team-leading eighth goal of the season to lead the Golden Bears offensively.

Mount Holyoke freshman midfielder Margaret Robb (Summit, N.J.) paced the Lyons with a goal and an assist, while senior Kristina Ramsden (Florence, Mass.) and freshman Kylie Brooks (Oceanside, Calif.) also scored for the visitors.

Game Review
Mount Holyoke got off to a strong start with a goal off a penalty corner play just 1:01 into the contest. Ramsden took the corner and sent a pass to senior Colby Newsham (Harvard, Mass.), who fired a shot towards the cage. Western New England senior Dana Dufour (Gloucester, Mass.) made the save, but Ramsden tapped in the rebound at the near post to get the Lyons on the board.

The visitors nearly doubled their advantage at the 10:14 mark on a shot my senior Mirjam Keochakian (Hamburg, Germany), but Western New England senior Leah Kelemen (Bartlett, N.H.) came through with a defensive save to keep the Golden Bears' deficit at one.

Mount Holyoke was able to take a 2-0 lead at the 17:43 mark, however, when Brooks scored on a feed from Robb.

The Lyons led by the same margin until Clark scored an unassisted goal 6:32 into the second half to cut Western New England's deficit in half.

Western New England had an opportunity to tie the game on a shot by sophomore Haley Daigneault (Longmeadow, Mass.) with under ten minutes to play, but the attempt was saved by Mount Holyoke junior goalie Morgan Turner (Chester, N.J.).

Following a Golden Bear timeout at 62:32, Robb buried an insurance goal to seal the win for the Lyons.
