Lana Felice Collects NFHCA All-Region Honors
Pawling, N.Y. native named to New England East Region Second Team
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (November 28, 2018) – Senior midfielder Lana Felice (Pawling, N.Y.) of the Western New England University field hockey team has been named an All-New England East Region second team performer by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA), the organization announced on Wednesday.
Felice, who also earned All-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) first team accolades, started all 19 games for the Golden Bears this season and recorded nine points with two goals and five assists.
Felice's goals came in wins over Roger Williams (9/21) and Westfield State (10/23), while she recorded assists against Wheaton (9/2), the University of New England (9/12), Salve Regina (9/15), Nichols (10/2) and Westfield State (10/23).
In 76 career appearances (68 starts), Felice totaled 25 points with five goals and 15 assists.
