Watch the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Selection Show

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (May 7, 2023) – The Western New England men's lacrosse team is headed to their second straight NCAA Tournament after capturing their second consecutive Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship and tenth championship overall in the program's history on Saturday afternoon, as the two seeded Golden Bears took down the hosting top seeded Gulls of Endicott 18-9. WNE receives an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament with the win. 

The Golden Bears will find out who they will face on Sunday, May 7 at 9:00 PM EST as part of the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Selection Show, hosted by NCAA.com. 

In the win over Endicott, Western New England was led by Dylan Hanley, who scored twice while picking up six assists, Mike Bannon, who continued to add to his program career record In points, scoring four times and adding two assists, good for six points. Zachary Mein and Jack Houlden both scored four times each for the blue and gold as WNE went on to avenge their earlier defeat in the regular season at Endicott, defeating the Gulls 18-9.
