WNE would coast along in conference play, defeating Gordon College (W, 24-4) and Salve Regina University (W, 15-12). WNE would be stopped in their tracks on their way to a perfect CCC record on the season as Endicott College would get the best of WNE, defeating the Golden Bears 16-7, as WNE drops their first CCC game since April 10, 2021. With one game remaining in conference play, Western New England would run through Nichols College (W, 20-5) to secure the second seed in the CCC Tournament.

The Golden Bears would grab home field advantage for their first two games in the Tournament, defeating University of New England by a final score of 24-9 while also taking down Salve Regina University 23-11 to punch their ticket to their 12th straight CCC Championship game.
