Men’s Tennis Dropped in Season Opener
HILTON HEAD, S.C. (March 13,2023) – The Western New England men's tennis team fell in their first match of the season on Monday night, falling 9-0 to the Roadrunners of Ramapo College.
How it Happened:
Two Golden Bears made their season debuts as Thomas Roche and Tyler Macdowall played in both doubles and singles action. Roche and partner Michael Robichaud would be downed by a near 8-6 score in doubles action as the Roadrunners got off to a quick start in the match.
In singles action, Thomas Roche would play to three sets with Ramapo's Matthew Doran before eventually falling 6-4, 3-6, 6-7 (3-10). Michael Robichaud would also fall in a near 5-7, 5-7 match while Tyler Macdowall would drop is debut singles match 3-6, 3-6.
