Western New England Men’s Tennis Receives CCC Sportsmanship Award in End of Season Wrap Up

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (May 2, 2023) – The Western New England men's tennis team received the Commonwealth Coast Conference Sportsmanship Award, as announced in the end of the season wrap up by the conference office. 

The Golden Bears pick up the Sportsmanship award for the third year in a row, after having won the award in both 2021 and 2022. The Golden Bears wrapped up their 2023 spring season with a 2-11 record, including 1-7 in CCC play. Paul Riccio, Michael Robichaud, and Thomas Roche all won four matches on the season to lead the way for the blue and gold. In doubles action, the duo of Tyler Macdowall and Paul Riccio won five matches on the season, leading all Golden Bears.
