Three Golden Bears Selected for NEILA East-West Senior All-Star Game

Dudeck, Patrie & Censorio will represent Golden Bears on Friday, June 2 at Springfield College  

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (May 26, 2017) – Three members of the Western New England University men's lacrosse team have been selected to represent the Golden Bears at the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East-West Senior All-Star Game, it was announced on Friday.

Seniors Keegan Dudeck (Longmeadow, Mass.), Steven Patrie (Lewiston, Maine) and Michael Censorio (Mansfield, Mass.) are among the 52 graduating student-athletes from Divisions I, II and III that will compete in next Friday's contest, which will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Stagg Field on the campus of Springfield College.

All players and coaches were nominated by the head coaches within the NEILA.  Players were then ranked and selected by a committee awarding seniors from all three NCAA Divisions who played their college career in the New England region. 

Dudeck and Patrie were also recognized as United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA)/Nike honorable mention All-Americans, and Dudeck was selected to compete in the prestigious USILA/Nike North South Senior All-Star Game on Friday (May 26) at Providence College.

Censorio, a defender, started 13 of the 17 games he appeared in this season, recording 19 ground balls and six caused turnovers.
