The Nor'Easters closed the score gap to under 10 on a three pointer and a steal for a fast break layup. The Golden Bears responded with two layups in a row to go back up 13, 29-16. The Nor'Easters came out of the half and put a jumper on the board. Restall answered with two back-to-back layups for WNE and a run of 11 that Restall had seven of, score 55-29. UNE snuck another basket in while a free-throw and Greene with two at the rim to build on their 20 plus lead. Mike Resnick swooshed in two threes for the Golden Bears who had built up a 30-point lead 70-40 under 8:58 to go in the game. The Nor'Easters did not hit a basket from under the 10-minute mark until five minutes left in play with a three and a layup before Geitner hit another three. UNE earned a late small run of six points, but a three put in by Max Jones for the Golden Bears with less than two-minutes sealed the deal on an already 30-point game.
