Harrison Grabs National Association of Basketball Coaches All-American Second Team

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (March 15, 2023) – Sophomore Jake Harrison continues to add end of season awards to his resume, this time adding the prestigious All-American award, after being named to the NABC Second Team, as announced by the committee today.

Harrison has already claimed CCC Player of the Year, First Team All-CCC, D3hoops.com All-Region First Team, NABC All-District First Team and now NABC All-American Second Team. The South Boston, Massachusetts native is one of just six players chosen from the New England region, joining Jeff Hunter (Keene State), Alex Sobel (Middlebury), Dylan Thoerner (Tufts), Octavio Brito (Keene State), and EJ Day (Lasell) on the list.

Harrison is the first plyer in Western New England men's basketball history to add NABC All-American status to their resume. Harrison averaged 17.1 points per game through 27 games played, sending WNE to their first ever Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship game and first championship game since the 2000-2001 season as a member of The Great Northeast Conference. The Golden Bears finished the season with a 21-7 record, including a 14-4 conference record.
