Men’s Tennis Slipped Up by Concordia Wisconsin

HILTON HEAD, South Carolina (March 17, 2022) – The Western New England men's tennis team was taken down by the Falcons of Concordia University on Thursday night, falling 8-1 in singles and doubles action. 

Records:

  • Western New England: 2-2
  • Concordia Wisconsin: 3-7

How it Happened:
The Golden Bears weren't able to pick up any singles wins on the night, falling 6-0 to their opponents. WNE came through with one doubles victory as Max Gordon and Nick Bayor continued their dominance on the playing surface, defeating Logan Snyder and Landon Sather 8-5 in the doubles session. Brandon Greger and Casey VanDenBossche would be clipped in doubles play while Michael Robicaud and Sebastian Smreczak would also fall. 

Ryan Zable competed in the singles round for Western New England, falling 6-2, 6-4 in a close battle.
